Full review
I have bought this camera in the States, but a part from the adapter needed to make it work in the UK, it doesn't really matter for this review.

The box contains:
-Wrist strap
-32MB memory card
-Battery pack
-Battery charger
- AC cable
-AV cable
-Interface cable
-User manual

Advantages:
To me the biggest advantage is the 3.0" High resolution LCD screen. For the first time I can properly review the pictures without the need of a computer. Despite the fact that the scratch-resistant coating adds extra protection against knocks and scrapes, the sreen is still sensitive to scratches, but as long as you treat the camera carefully, this shouldn't be a major issue. I have been in possesion of the camera for almost 2 months now and taken over 500 picture, and the screen only shows minor scratches.

The picture quality is also excellent. The camera has 17 shooting modes for different situations, although I think this will only be interesting for complete novices because the manual settings still ensure a much better picture quality. Another interesting feature is the possibility to emphasise a particular colour in the 'my colour mode". you get the option to emphasise the red, green or blueI colours before taking the picture. This resulted in some very colourful and high quality pictures taken in Central park with the 'green mode' on.

Although I have heard some complaints about the face detection mode that enable the camera to auto-detect faces, I have so far only had positive experience with this function. Especially when I made pictures of large groups of people, the camera seemed to get it right almost everytime. The possibility to remove red eyes on camera made the function complete.

The interface has been left unaltered from previous versions of this camera and is very intuitive and easy to understand. The ISO1600 mode allows pictures being taken in poorly lit areas and is ideal for fast moving objects. It showed very little noise in ly pictures and is therefore another great feature of this Canon ixus 750 camera.
Disadvantages:

The tiny memory card that is included with the camera. I was very dissapointed to find only a 32mb SD card when a picture on this 7.1 megapixal camera at the best quality is over 3mb! A bigger card is therefore a must if you want to make some decent pictures.

So far, I haven't found any other dissadvantages worth mentioning. one very small disadvantage is the fact that there is no grip on the camera, so it could slip out of hour hands. But I think anyone who has just spent 200+ on a camera will ensure this never happens :-). If you use the wrist strap this shouldn't be a big problem

Overall I believe this is one of the best camera's in this segment. The camera has pleasantly surprised me in almost every aspect and a part from a few small disadvantages I believe it is worth every penny (or dollar :-)
