I'm in no way an expert photographer, but like to take pics whenever I go out and about, and therefor need a quick and easy Camera to use, one that wont give me a problem when a once in a life oppurtunity comes by and you need to take a pic quick! Too many times have i missed an oppurtunity to take a photo because of my camera not working properly of just simply too much of a struggle to switching it on and having it ready!

I researched many types of camera's and ended up buying the Canon IXUS 960IS and thus far am impressed!

The body work is made of Titanium which is a big plus if you tend to chip or break your camera and the 2.5 inch screen is just right, not too big that it drains the battery and not too small so you cant see it.

There are many options on this little camera, including

Optical Image Stabilizer (anti-shake)
face detection
red eye correction
18 Shooting Modes

I've managed to try the first three in this list and thus far impressed! My pictures have come out a treat, and now enjoying looking back at my memories.

One extra feature that this camera has which swayed me to buying it, was the view finder. Many Digital camera's today do not have the view finder as the screen on the back is enough, but in sunny conditions the screen is sometimes hard to see, and you need a viewfinder to take the picture. This is a big plus in my opinion!

All in all im am glad i bought the 960, and would definitly recommend to others to buy. The price can be a bit steep for some people, but you wont need another camera for a while if you have this one.
