Since I don't tend to print out pictures larger than A4, the 5 megapixels ... ...is missing is the rotating button on the top which allows you to select different modes quickly: eg sports, macro, portrait. These can be selected via buttons on the back, but unless you want to select macro mode or turn the flash on or off, I never remember which modes are available.

I should start the review by saying that my main reason for purchasing this camera, is that I found it available in Jessops for £80. The value for money at that price is excellent, though £200 is a bit steep.
So - onto the camera. The main feature of this camera is the wifi ability, which I find I rarely use. Most notebooks (and quite a few printers) now seem to come with card readers and USB readers can be bought for a couple of quid now, which I find a much easier and faster way to transfer pictures than wirelessly. Canon also provide excellent software to download pictures from the camera using a USB connection. If you require a wireless connection to either download or print pictures, then this camera is for you, though I still see this as a gimmick.

It has been dropped, scratched and drenched and it still works perfectly well and takes nice pictures. The battery is long lasting, but as with all specific battery types (rather than AAs etc) when it runs out you either need a spare or to recharge - you can't just pick up a couple of duracells at a shop and carry on snapping.
This camera also records short videos which (along with the photos) can be played via an a/v cable on a TV.
In summary, a very nice camera, but I don't believe it is worth more than £200! For that price there are many better cameras which are easier to use, but lack the wireless capability. For that reason, unless you see it cheap, I wouldn't recommend it.

The zoom is your standard 3 x optical zoom and 4 x digital so there is nothing that really grabs my attention there.
However the photo quality from such a small camera is phenomenal.Shutter lag was to ... ...whats not to like,Its brilliant!!!
The only thing things I can put against this camera is it has no image stabilizer(not really important on a camera with such a small zoom)and then the price is pretty steep.!!
but if you want a quality camera that will last you years and take really great photos donteven bother with any of the bigger mega pixel cameras.THIS IS THE ONE FOR YOU ...

Advantages: Good price..Wireless technology Disadvantages: little bulky
I do have this very nice Digital Camera from Canon, its Canon's first compact digital camera to feature wireless support built in - they manage to do this whilst still maintaining an ultra-compact body.but it's generally quite good value for money for a digital camera with built in wireless support.
The camera records VGA videos at 30fps with sound. The camera is slightly larger than some ultra compact digital cameras.
