    Advantages Advantages The 60D has all the frame rates of the 7D and T2i/550D and manual audio like the 5DmkII .

    Its Here!! The much anticipated replacement for the 50D, sure it’s better than the 550D/T2i…it’s more money. Yes it has a couple of features more than the 550D/t2i and some the 7D does not have, but do you get what you pay for? The New Canon EOS 60D is designed to sit between the EOS 550D and the EOS 7D in the current Canon EOS line up and it does the job nicely. The best thing for me is this articulating screen. It make life so much easier for the film makers and stills takers alike. It is a very nice screen too - taking the wider 3:2 ratio high resolution LCD from the 550D, putting it ahead ... more

    Advantages Advantages Vari Angle LCD, 18.0 MP, Live View Mode, Full HD, 3 inch LCD, ISO 6400, 5:3 fps

    Disadvantages Disadvantages shooting inside with no outside light gives an orangeish color, but that might be my crappy lens

    I wanted to try the canon 60d to start seriously making videos, and maybe take a couple of pictures, but the camera got me hooked. I had some prior experience with photography, but never video. It was all new to me but the Menu formats were so easy to master. Also the Vari-Angle LCD screen is amazing! It helps so much. But the Canon 60d is a good exception to buying the 7D if you're mostly focusing on videos. The Canon 60d even has manual audio adjusting. he price is alot, ($1000) but you get what you pay for, and in this case more than you pay for. Overall it is a nice camera inside and out ... more
