Bought this camera a few years ago. First ever Digital SLR. Only 3.5 mega pixels but my goodness what a camera.
Since I started an Open University Course on creating better images I have really become a bit of an anorak in how the camera works. It has great appeal (looks wise) it looks even more impressive with the extra battery grip I got.
Pictures above ISO 100 reduce the quality drastically when seen at A4, iI found. especially if in poor light.
In perfect light conditions, for sport, portrait it is superb.
Need lots of batteries though. I have a 2 battery pack as well as a number fo back ups. I have gone from a passing interest to amateur to what I would now call a very enthusiastic amateur. Been published once in a news story for a local paper, would love to now build on this and this is camera is a much cheaper way to do it.
Welcome to Ciao, good start but if you want better ratings then you'll have to add a few more details... like if it accepts memory cards and if so which type (presumably SD? up to what size if applicable?, what scene modes does it offer, whats the maximum zoom etc.)
also have a look at some other reviews for digital cameras to get an idea of other info. you may want to add to give your review higher ratings. If you add more feel free to drop me a note in my guestbook and I'll gladly re-rate it, when I have time.
