The handle is made of a light-weight metal that is quite easily assembled - once put together you can't take it apart again to store - and has a hook at the top to hang up the mop when not in use. You get a "user guide" too which tells you everything you need to know about using this item. As a set I think it was quite good value at £8.00, £19.99 would have been quite a lot in my opinon. The pads and bottle do have to be replaced with the branded flash products and so this is a hidden upkeep cost of this item in a sense - the bottles retail at £3.00 for 1 litre of product, and the pads are 6 for about the same price. Flash Power Mop powers through!!

Advantages: Qucik, easy, not messy
Disadvantages: A little expensive for the refills

I tease him about it but my husband is an absolute clean freak and we can never leave sainburys without purchasing at least one cleaning product so it came as no surpirse that he came back with the Flash Power mop a few months back. The Flash power mop consists of three elements, the mop itself, the flash liquid which comes in a bottle and the flash cleaning pads. You can buy an initial starter pack with all those products in for about £19.99. The mop portion then lasts forever, you can then buy the flash liquid and the pads separately. The pads cost approximately £3 for 6 refills and a 1 litre bottle of liquid costs the same. We have ceramic floors in our kitchen and all of our bathrooms so this mop is really great. Bring on the Flash Power Mop

Advantages: Easy to use, brilliant cleaning

I have tried all the new mops for cleaning floors, never been impressed with any of them, the problems I have had are the pole was to weak and snapped in half, the wipes weren?t good enough, had to use 3 to clean an ordinary sized floor. No I am not scruffy LOL but with 2 big dogs and 2 dirty kids, the floor gets dirty. So having a wander around ASDA as us women do, I noticed a brand new mop, The Flash POWER Mop.
