Advantages: Slim bezel & design Disadvantages: Glossy finish shows dust. Lettering & symbols on remote not clear
I normally rely on reviews in 'What HI-FI Sound & Vision' but there were none for the Sharp LC-37XL8E. I wanted a 37" LCD with 1080p,100Hz and a slim frame. The new Pioneer LCD would have been 1st choice but for the high price.
The Sharp's slim bezel and design would grace any living room. The picture quality tuned to freeview was not good until I used the AV button to change from 'dynamic' to 'standard' and changed the picture settings to improve the colour and sharpness. The result is excellent. Blu-Ray is superb. The sound is as good as most TVs with two10 watt speakers. The remote control's symbols/letters are difficult to see in low light. Advantages: Looks cool, Easy usability, Long battery life, talking phone Disadvantages: Sometimes you can press the wrong buttons by mistake!
it's really him but it does sound like him!) Luckily though, you don't have to have this option on, which I found out after I was in a quiet shop and received a text, which my phone then proceeded to read out, much to my embarrassment!
Anyway, a very good phone and I definitely recommend it.
