This was my first Digital SLR(single lens reflex) the Canon20D. I had previously owned a Nikon and with good recommendations from my friends I decided to switch to Canon.
The camera is very well built with strong controls and buttons. Surprisingly it is not heavy which helps balance out the camera nicely.
The menu functions are very easy to use with simple sections with the help of the dial wheel.
The dial wheel is a my favourite feature on this camera. It allows you to move easily through the menu and importantly through your photographs. You can navigate through your captured photographs with the slight turn of the dial wheel and it was this featured that interested me towards this camera.
The pop up flash is useful in dim light situations and can be manually adjusted for brightness in manual mode.
