Canon LV 5100

Advantages: Excellent Print Quality, Fast Printing, Reasonable Price

...My printer had been playing up for a couple of months, I normally (99% of the time) only use it for printing in black for invoices, however I do occasionally print something off in colour and sometimes print a photo. It was missing one of the colours out now and again and so I decided it was time for a new one. Why Canon? My old printer was a Canon and although it was playing up it had served me well for about three years of constant use. I also think the design of the Canon printers is very good, I think they are far better to look at than most other makes and this is quite important when you are going to be looking at it everyday, sat on your desk. ...Morning, Evening afternoon people, This is a review on The ALTEC 5100 5.1 PC SPEAKERS. I first saw these speakers yesterday (03/07/04) in PcWorld when i was wondering round the store looking at the Gel-Wrist Rest, and the BlueTooth wireless keyboards. I was drawn immediately to the style and compact size of this 5.1 system. My reason for being in the speaker section is that i will being going to mauritius for about 1 month in August. And for entertainment when i am chilling in my house, drinking beer i would like to have a sepaker system which would be loud yet easy enough for me to take abroad and also drag onto our baclony which is 8 x 20 feet in size. Advantages: Size
Disadvantages: Reliability, Lost data due to reliability issues

...I purchased the Aspire L5100 at the beginning of 2008. In my experience this PC is a bad buy. The pros: small design, good for those with limited space The cons: It looks good because of its compact design, but this is the problem. Because it is so small and everything is crammed together there is no room for air to circulate. The PC freezes daily and has to be unplugged to restart. Freezes increase as the weather heats up. Shortly after the warranty expired the DVD/CD began playing up. It is a daily gamble what music and videos will play. Writing discs is not even an option anymore. Having had these experiences I advise anyone considering purchase of this model to think carefully. Note. This is my second attempt writing this review as the PC froze midway.... Read review
