Advantages: good pump on bottle to aid application, long ;asting Disadvantages: hard to blend, quite thick
I went for a Max Factor Foundation as I knew the brand as was intrigued by the 'colouradapt' part of the labelling. As I had previously found it hard to find a foundation that matched and complemented my skin tone (I'm fairly pale in skin colour), this appealled to me as I'm always keen to avoid that over made up look.
The bottle looked good, with a pump for easy application. I went for one of the paler shades, that looked to match my skin tone fairly well. The foundation itself was actually a lot thicker than I was used too, and quite powdery. I thought that this would be good as it would avoid the greasy look that some foundations had given me in the past after a few hours wear,
The thickness of the foundation meant that I actually found it pretty hard to apply. It was difficult to judge the reight amount that would give me ...
Advantages: Blends well, value for money, shades for everyone. Disadvantages: re-application sometimes necssary
I bought this product from a local Boots store for only £7.50. I had heard that this was one of the best foundations there is, especially for my fair skin tone. They were right.
This line of foundation has an extensive range of shades from the ghostly white to the darkest brown, a colour for everyone. I managed to find my perfect shade quickly and efficiently without the need for testers. This foundation I found was easy to blend even upto my hairline and the small cracks around my nose. The visibilty was just enough and it's coverage beautiful. It was noticeable and because it had adapted itself to my skin, it gave my skin tone a look of perfection. It is exceptional value money and I would reccomend it to any woman who struggles with blending their current foundation or finding their shade. Removing the foundation couldn't have been ...
Advantages: Simple to attach, decent and simple build Disadvantages: Rumblings on the net from audio pro's about noise... however at this price...
L@@K IF YOU'RE EXPERIENCING PROBLEMS WITH THIS UNIT - I have torn my hair out trying to make this work and I know a lot of you out there have as well. I wanted to have up to two microphones with the possibility of using the on board mic for ambient sound. The problem was that you got no sound from the onboard and the sound from the MA100 was extremely low. It turns out that the problems stem from us all being told to plug the unit's L and R RCA's in to Audio 1 (Input 1 at the back of the unit).
The trick is to plug the RCA ('phono') plugs in to sound INPUT 2. This is fiendishly hidden on the right side of the XL1/S handle. You still have to plug the small power jack in to the hole in the back where Audio 1 is.
Now put the camera on VCR and go in to the sound settings menu. Choose 4 channel 12 bit sound L/R and make sure ...
