I got the canon mp190 as a replacement for another canon printer that had proven very unreliable and the 190 is certainly a worthy replacement.
The design is appealing, the printer also moonlights as a scanner and copier and ink consumption is reasonable.

The design is appealing, the printer also moonlights as a scanner and copier and ink consumption is reasonable. Borderless printing is an advantage that many other printers are not capable of. The software is easy to upload and simple to navigate. Print quality is very good for documents ... ...quality and speed suffer here even when on the optimum settings). The printer does not come with a USB cable but does need one for it to be used, so this is an essential extra purchase. There are two options for ink cartridges - low capacity and high capacity (40 and 41). I would have given this printer 5 stars but the photo printing quality dragged it down - if photo printing is important to you, I would suggest getting another ... more
