I have just bought and finished installing this printer, so I have decided to share my views on it. I bought it at the local Tesco Extra, after some research I found that they offered it at the lowest price, at £30. I also got 10% as they only had the display one left in store. However, as I bought it in store I did not get free delivery and had to carry it the 2 miles home, something I wont recommend if your arms get tired easily.

It comes in a large box, and is well packaged so it does not rattle about in the box. You are provided with the Pixma MP190 printer, 2 ink cartridges (one black and one colour), setup CD-ROM, Printed documents and a power cord. You will need to buy a separate USB cable to connect the printer to your laptop or PC, something I found out to my annoyance after carrying it all the way home and excited to get started. However, you can get USB cables fairly cheaply, I got one locally at a pound store for 99 pence. Tesco where selling them for £4, so I made a tidy saving not going back.

The printer start up and installation is fairly easy and quick. The instructions are easy to follow and the whole process takes no more than 15 minutes start to finish. I installed it onto a Windows system, however, it is also possible to use it on a Macintosh system.

It weighs 5.8kg and is approximately 17.7(W) * 13.9 (D)* 6.7 (H) (inches). It prints documents as well as offering a scanning facility. I have used both and was impressed with what I saw. It has International ENERGY STAR ® Program sticker meaning that it meets certain guidelines for energy efficiency.

The printing speed is 19 pages a minute which I think is alright but not the fastest on the market.

It is an attractive machine and is white and black in colour. It has a stylish operation panel with a selection of 13 lights and buttons including: on/off button, scan button, stop button, paper button and many more.

The printer also comes with a one year warranty which I hope not to have to use, but be sure I'll update this review if I do.

I would recommend this machine as it is a cheap option for a scanner/printer in a market which can more than often than not be overpriced and off putting.
