Okay feature packed, so where to start, 400x digital zoom, 20x optical zoom ... ...couple of times,2.5inch mini screen for viewing and playback and a great little remote control that comes in handy, uses tapes or SD card, can take pictures with a litle photo button. DV/USB connection to PC, a menu system that allows different effects to be used with the camera such as black and white Sepia, Art,mirror and a couple more. Anyhow having seen the features packed in and spoke to the salesman a bit i actually thought that it would be worth buying there and then and as I needed one quite soon the stress of finding one suitable had definately been taken away. I have to say this prodct was one of the best electrical products I have purchased for a long time in terms of value for money and quality of product.
I have used it abroad in Morrocco which was very useful as there was plenty to record on the back of a camel. And I also went looking at property in Eastern Europe and he camera came in useful to record viewing trips and details of properties. The picture quality is excellent for the price and feature packed

Menu navigation is intuitive, uncomplicated and available in 8 languages. Sitting just beneath the surface to await the more adventurous is a generously specified camcorder with a raft of advanced features. A remarkably high ratio 20x optical / 400x combined zoom means you will never be too far from the action, while shooting in low light conditions is no problem thanks to 'Night Mode'. There are eighteen creative modes to choose from. The MV730i camcorder includes Image Stabilization to keep the action steady without a tripod and a 1/6" high resolution CCD sensor for sharp images. The camera features DIGIC DV, a dedicated DV processor that raises the bar on image quality, recreating 'emotional' colors, tones and details to deliver images we humans love and remember: redder apples, greener grass, bluer skies and warmer and more realistic skin tones. Capture digital still images with 'Progressive Photo System' technology. The MV730i even gives you the ability to capture stills whilst shooting video footage, and storing these direct to either MMC or SD memory cards. A mechanical shutter provides true digital still camera functionality, eliminating the blur that plagues conventional camcorders. The vendor independent PictBridge standard is supported, allowing for PC-less direct printing to any PictBridge compatible printer. Motion-JPEG files record direct to either MMC or SD memory cards for easy Internet sharing. Up to 60 minutes of either QVGA or QQVGA formats can be recorded straight to card or copied to card from DV tape. The MV730i includes an Analog/Digital converter and Analog In port to allow input of signals from analog devices to be converted in-camera and stored digitally to miniDV format.
