Advantages: easy to use Disadvantages: not as many extras as the mv3700i
the canonmv700 isn't just easy to use, but practical and compact as well! cheap, reliable and interesting, it's no wonder everyone chooses a canon camcorder!
It's a great colour, it's got everything you need to have on a camcorder and it's totally amazing, if your going for a camcorder, go for the canonMV300!
with it's dv out, night mode, digital still, so you can take ordinary photo's, and all the digital effects, it's so compact that you cannot believe the extras on it!
I saved up for a camcorder for a long time, and i ended up getting one of the best ever! the instruction manual is easy to read and i was set up after about 5 minutes of getting it!
It comes with the dv out plug, a battery pack, an extra battery, a charger and lot of other things, in which i don't know the technical terms for.
So all in all, this ...

CanonMV 850i - camcorder - Mini DV
The cannon MV850i video camcorder had been recommended to me and when I first brought it I had no idea about these types of video cameras, it appeared to be quite technical at first with many different settings and other high tech facilities,
If you have your reservations of all the different controls and settings then just switch to easy mode, point and shoot simplicity; just aim your cannon MV850i digital video camcorder and shoot.
Fasten your seat belts with the splendid canonMV850i video camcorder, sometimes we find it hard to choose and if you're an armature like me at buying photographic equipment, then choosing the chic MV850i is far-flung from a gamble.
The canonMV850i digital video camcorder is the BMW of the camcorder world with its Leap forward
Through technology (Vorsprung Durch ...

Today there is sometimes again to read somewhat of me *g*
I greet to you everything here to my report on Sony Ericsson K800i.
He has become very long - excused please! Especially{particularly} because he is so long I hope that I also all important one has mentioned. If not says give - I complement it!
Thus it has started{begun} that at the beginning of September my contract{treaty} ran out with o2 and I wanted to extend{lengthen} this. I looked around for a nice mobile phone. Actually, I did not need{require} myself at all a lot look around because there were already only 2 mobile phones for me. Sony Ericsson W900i or the K800i. However, the question also soon cleared. On the one hand, there was in the on-line shop only the K800i and to the second one the K800i has a better camera!:o)

Manufacturer's product description
With its 20x optical zoom, DiGIC DV and 'Easy' mode, the MV800 combines quality with point-and-shoot simplicity. It features a 2.4" LCD, 16: 9 widescreen mode and image stabilization. With the MV800 Canon's engineers have developed a camcorder where ease of use is all-important. They have stuck to the maxim that technology is only worth having when it is both simple and useful. Functionality that simplifies the key task of shooting great video has been enhanced. This approach has produced a camcorder that sets a standard for uncomplicated performance. Everywhere ease of use is paramount. Menu navigation is intuitive and straightforward. Controls are positioned for instant, fingertip access to key functions. Within seconds of picking it up for the first time you can be capturing quality footage. Flick the 'Easy' switch and the camcorder immediately records in fully automatic mode. The MV800 has a high-resolution 16: 9 mode, which lets you film in cinemascope and is great if you want to play back your footage on a widescreen monitor. And it's as easy to use as the Easy mode. Simply push the button and the camcorder is ready to capture true widescreen images, using the full width of the CCD sensor. The MV800's compact body measures just 5cm across and fits easily in the palm of your hand. It may be small, but its 2.4" color LCD monitor gives you plenty of screen space to keep your eye on detail as you record. What's more, screen brightness is adjustable to aid visibility in outdoor locations. No matter what kind of lighting you have or where you may be, you can rely on capturing the essence of the scenes you shoot. The MV800 has a powerful 20x optical zoom, with exceptional contrast and clarity, and that can place you right at the heart of the action. The MV800 uses a razor sharp 1/6" CCD so that even at the strongest magnifications you will capture images that are crisp and clear. Canon's unique DiGIC DV processor renders these in warm, subtle tones; colors appear natural and vibrant. Electronic Image Stabilization (EIS) means that hand-held footage remains steady and calm even in tricky shooting situations.
