I found it relatively easy to use after studying the manual,
(have camera ready to use when reading its easier to follow)
although navigating the menu can be a bit fiddly,this is displayed on the screen and when not in use through the viewfinder, some features can only be accessed with the screen open ie setting and using the fader (6) different ... ...The viewfinder I think would be greatly improved with the addition of a soft eyecup (to reduce light pollution) instead of the hard eyepiece it comes with, so i found it easier to use the screen
The 2.5" screen is a joy to use with crystal clear resolution in daylight or night, the camera produces excelent quality results in either Video or Photo mode,also easy to download.

I found it relatively easy to use after studying the manual, (have camera ready to use when reading its easier to follow) although navigating the menu can be a bit fiddly,this is displayed on the screen and when not in use through the viewfinder, some features can only be accessed with the screen open ie setting and using the fader (6) different effects, (which I use regularly) The viewfinder I think would be greatly improved with the addition of a soft eyecup (to reduce light pollution) instead of the hard eyepiece it comes with, so i found it easier to use the screen The 2.5" screen is a joy to use with crystal clear resolution in daylight or night, the camera produces excelent quality results in either Video or Photo mode,also easy to download. I found that Redeye is down to a minimun when using the Photo mode, I tried taking portrait photo,s from a slight angle and virtually eliminated Redeye. Can be connected direct to DVD recorder, I found that a boon as I dont have a DVD writer on my PC. A wise buy would be a spare battery as the one supplied lasts about 1 hour . It has one of the best night shot modes I have used. All in All a great little camera and value for money well worth a look at.
