Description
The battery is made by and for Canon cameras. The battery type is a rechargeable lithium ion and it runs for 150 minutes at full charge. It hols a capacity of 790mAH and the battery is both long lasting and reliable. The battery was produced originally to succeed the NB-1Lh in size so that they could create smaller digital cameras for them to be used with.
With a fully charged NB-3L Battery you will never miss the important snap when you're just about to capture the perfect moment! When in packaging the product weighs 454 g and it has a size of 17.5 x 6.9 x 1.8 and it weighs 100g by itself.
Compared to equilevent batteries like jessops NB-3L it has a much better battery life and is a much better value for money compared to it's competitors. I would advise with not using other forms of compatible batteries as these can lead to problems in the camera like overheating meaning that if broken due to this canon will not repair it and you are left with a bill of £200. All of this for the safe of around £8.
If you are going away for a long period of time it is recommended that you get one of these batteries as a spare so you can charge and use one at a time. It also acts as a good back up in case the first doesn't continue to work. Another good feature is that when removed to charge the internal memory of the camera is not affected.
To summarise
The battery is 76% the size of the NB-1LH and it holds 94% of the charge. That’s a very good compromise. It can be used in canon ELPH/ Ixus digital cameras. It runs for 150mins and holds a charge of 790mAH.

battery instead of the NB-1LH. It is a good buy.
