At just 3.4fps up to 170 Jpegs, is not great when compared to similar models and is not sufficient for getting the right moment at fast moving sports. 5fps would have been more acceptable at this price band. The ISO is where this camera shines; it goes right up to 3200 expandable to 12800. As it uses Canons renowned sensor system images are more than usable even when you shoot at the thick end. The LCD screen used on this camera is 3.0? and also includes live view, which can only be expected. This screen is more than large enough on this relatively small body. Sony NH AA-2DB Nickel Metal Hydride

Advantages: Last a long time when charged properly.
Disadvantages: Nothing really.

Other than watching DVD's as a hobby I am a keen amateur photographer and to be honest one of the things I hate is carrying packs of Duracell batteries around with me as I find them cumbersome. When I bought my new digital camera, a Sony Cybershot H2, I was surprised with what I received with them. ---A nice surprise--- When I opened the box, I had the instruction manual and everything relevant, but also two rechargeable batteries as well. These types of batteries are the ones that are received with a battery charger as standard when you purchase from the Sony Cybershot camera range. Review of Sony NH AA-2DB - Camera battery 2 x AA type NiMH 2500 mAh

Canon - It blew me out of the water!

Advantages: Long lasting, VG quality, trusted brand.
Disadvantages: The price and the delivery.

This battery pack came with my Canon MVX300 camcorder, and it gives me around 2 hours recording time. Now, with multiple charges and uses, I noticed that the battery packs recording time was slowly getting shorter and shorter with each use. Considering that we have been to many weddings, birthday parties and christenings, the camcorder has had loads of use. I'm surprised it's even lasted this long to be honest. I didn't want to throw away a perfectly working camcorder, just because the battery was getting worn out, so I took a trip down to my local Jessops, in hope of finding a new one. Unfortunately for me, they didn't actually have one in stock at that time. So my friendly sales assistant suggested that I tried their website.
