    When I need to buy black ink for my Canon printer this is the one I go for 99 times out of a 100. The only other time is if I am desperate and the shop I am in only has the lower yield, Pg-510. I have paid up to about £28 for the Pg-512 in an office supply store but you can get some really good deals online making it even better value for money. This ink cartridge should print about 370 pages of normal printing. Personally I find that this lasts me a very reasonable amount of time and is more noticeable than the lower yield one.     Is it possible for a PG 512 cartridge to be unsuitable for a Canon MP-240 bought from Romania?

    I have a Canon MP-240 printer bought from Romania. My first cartridge (PG-210) emptied, so I bought a new PG-512 from Germany, where I am now. My printer doesn't recognize the new cartridge. What could be the cause? The PG-512 is an original product from Canon Thanks, Paul
