I have rewritten this review to try to make it more helpful (I am pretty new to this).

*************COST*************
At approx £30 it is an affordable printer that really does produce great prints.

*********PRINTING QUALITY***********
This a great wee printer that has photo lab print quality. I found that it does deliver a high 4800*x1200dpi print resolution using a FINE Cartridge and 2pl ink droplets. I do have to say that I found the end result to be good in detail and vibrant in colour.
It was quite fast at printing the documents and the text was sharp.
I can easily print out approx 20 pages per minite in black and white, thanks to the additional black cartridge. Or for colour up to 16 pages per minute. I feel it would be an ideal item for homework, business reports and all your correspondence.

************BONUS*********
Another advantage with this printer that I like is the fast borderless photo printing with a photo lab quality 10x15cm borderless photo in approximately 70 seconds in the standard mode. Also it has the advantage of fast borderless photo printing on a range of sizes right up to A4, with Easy-PhotoPrint.
The Canon's ChromaLife100 system delivers beautiful photographs with enhanced durability up to 100 years (or so they say, I don't think I'll be around to dispute it !!!).

***************INK************
As with all printers it is better to use the FINE Cartridge, genuine Canon inks and genuine Canon photo paper. However you can use other companies inks that are compatible. I have done this and can't really see the difference.

**************SOFTWARE*****************
Another plus for this product that I like is the Easy-to-use software which is essential to get the most out the printer. I can print beautiful digital photos in just a few clicks with the Easy-PhotoPrint. I can also can create and print albums, calendars, print on stickers and also easily print basic layouts using Easy-LayoutPrint.
Another thing I like and you really must check out is the perfect web printouts without the loss of page edges with Easy-WebPrint.

*************DESIGN**************
Personally speaking I very much like the design of this printer and feel it is very stylish in design. It fits very easily into any surroundings. The PIXMA iP1800 is a very deep black and has a mirror finish and the corners are in matte black.

******************FEATURES***************
I thought I would put down some of the main features of this printer as a guide (you can get much more from any dealer) -
* Photo lab quality: max. 4800x1200dpi*
* Fast document printing with sharp text
* Prints a photo lab quality 10x15cm borderless photo in approx. 70 seconds
* ChromaLife100 system for long-lasting, beautiful photos
* Easy-to-use software included

****************OVERALL**************
I really do like this printer. It is good to look at, prints quickly and the quality of the prints are really good. For the money I paid I really couldn't ask for anything more.

I hope this rewritten review has been helpful and I would appreciate your feedback.
Thanks
