Advantages: great looking printouts, very attractive design, quick prints, low prices Disadvantages: does not include a paper output tray
...most PC workstations.
The Canon iP2500 does not include a paper output tray, some users may find this a nuisance as they will need to catch their prints as the printjob finishes to prevent them falling onto the floor/desk. Connects to the PC via USB interface, is compatible with Windows/Mac.
This printer comes with a Creative CD and a pack of matte paper (quite a few sheets in the pack).
For the price I have seen this for, it's definitely worth ...

Advantages: Not expensive to buy Disadvantages: Slow to get going, smudges, costly to run
I have had Canon printers before and have been pleased with them but this new printer is a disappointment. I make my own cards using photos, and also print off letters with photos on them. It is not so good even on ordinary paper. It leaves smudges on the trailing or leading edges and doesn't like glossy photo paper at all. It also gets through ink like no other printer I have ever had and has, in about 4 months, cost me more than twice as much in ... ...numerous documents and photos so the cost in paper has also added to the ink costs. It also takes a very long time to get going when you switch it on so there is no point in thinking that you can print something quickly. I telephoned the company to tell them and ask advice but the only explanation given was that I must be doing something wrong. I might just have a duff one, especially as the other review I have read says it is wonderful but I can't ...

The PIXMA iP2500 is Windows and Mac compatible with an USB connection. You can buy one of these printers for about £45-49 pounds which in my opinion is well worth the spend, my view is that there are far more expensive printers than this Canon PIXMA iP2500. ...

The only reason I bought this printer was that I had broken my previous one and therefore needed a replacement. By broken I mean I had dropped the power transformer onto the laminate floor as I had rather stupidly been carrying it by the cables, and the... more

I bought this printer to replace the PIXMA ip1600 which I had before, prompted by the £20 cashback offer Canon was running at the time. This allowed me to purchase a multifunction machine for cheaper than replacing the cartridges on the ip1600!... more
When it comes to buying technology, I know absolutely nothing, so I tend to take advice. The usual advice is: buy the best you can afford. In this case the cost was only an issue in the value-for-money sense, not in the there-is-a-top-limit sense. ... more
