This printer boasts features and is the printer everyone needs.

I paid £80 for my ip3000 about 2 months ago, the only reason I bought it is so that I could print directly onto the face of CD's and DVD's. Although you do need the croect type of printable CD's, i bought 100 printable CD-R's for about £20.00 on ebay. All you do is place the CD on to the supplied cassette and load it into the CD printing tray, it really is that simple.

Since then this printer has never let me down capable of a 4800 x 1200 resolution with FINE print technology. And unlike other inkjet printers it has a dual paper trays and intergrated duplex unit. The PictBridge allows you to connect your digital camera straight to the printer and print awesome borderless photograghs.

The single ink system has unique clear cartridges so that you can see how much ink is left. The cartridges are all individual and prices start from £3.99 each or you can buy a complete set for around £13.99.

I use standard A4 injet paper, but also buy Morrisons own brand photo paper and have excellent results.

I would remmecomend the canon ip3000 to anyone wanting fast printing, low ink usage and multiple printable media capabilities.

    Much better! You've now included the sort of info that a prospective buyer would be questioning when choosing a printer. Good stuff! I found it really helpful to have a nosey at other people's reviews of similar products when I first started on the site, so have a surf! Also, a big thank you for the trust. I'll try and get around to reading your other reviews soon. x

    This isn't bad, but it could do with a bit more info to get the higher ratings. For example, you could tell us how much cartridges are, what paper you use and the cost of it, or how easy it is to print onto cd's. Hope this helps. Please drop a note to my guestbook if you add more detail and I'll be happy to pop back and re-rate. x
