One year on and all is working well. This printer, although not top-of-the-range, has never let me down. It is quite big and bulky and you will need a fair old space on your desk, but the paper tray extension isn't too big and, if you have a built in A4 scanner, you're going to have to sacrifice something along the line aren't you. The build quality is decent for the price and the 'fiddly' bits aren't too fiddly. The pop-up screen is a bit gimmicky and doesn't really serve any purpose for me other to tel me that the thing is turned on. I COULD have it's uses but only if you work from the printer. I work of the computer to view my photo graphs - why would I want to view them on a 2 inch screen instead of a 20 inch one? The scanner is good I feel. Not the best resolution but plenty enough for me and I've never been disappointed by the end results. Print quality is so-so but again, I'm not a graphic designer and for the price it is fine - certainly the best I've ever had. The printer is no heavier on the ink than any other comparable product but I do not like the chipped cartridges - this is just irksome! As an aside, in 1 year I have not had to clean the heads - perhaps I should- but the printer has never let me down! All-in-all, a fair price (especially if you shop around, reliable and with a decent enough quality of end-product.
Kodak ESP3 (+) Fast printing, good quality, cheap cartridges, fast card reader, good scanner (-) fairly noisy when you start it and shut down, consumes ink fast 3 reviews Buy now for only £ 64.00
