If you do alot of faxing and then this could be a handy product. Unfortunately I dont. I bought this model to upgrade from my Pixma MP180. In reality, the only main difference between the 2 was the faxing. Print quality is very good, speed of print is good and scan quality is good. Unfortunatly I had to send mine back as I couldnt justify paying over £140 for a printer/scanner that was only marginally better than the lower priced Pixma MP180 (£45). So if you do alot of faxing then knock your socks off and splash out on this model. But if you dont mind waiting that extra 3.78 seconds for a picture to print off then I would say you should save your money as there are cheaper models out there that do the same things. Cannon products seem rather reliable however you also need to consider the cost of replacing the ink cartridges. All new cannon models have expensive cartridges and if you are printing photos then expect to be replacing them often. This is also a very bulky item that will take up alot of space on your desk top.
