I've had a Powershot A330 and moved to this. One of the main factors for buying it was the price. You point and shoot, it maybe that coming to this brand from another the controls will take a bit of getting used to but after 2 or 3 sessions there shouldn\'t be a problem. The Outside Mine has the red front, which is a bit pink though, it has a nice weight to it, fitting into the hands comfortably. It is mentioned in another review that the power button is in the wrong position, I'd definatly agree with this, I switched it off more than took photos for a good while, you do get used to it though. The mode is selected by a simple rocker wheel , this does need to be checked though as if the camera is loose in your bag it can move. The LCD screen is very good, it gives a crisp clear image, but can suffer from glare/reflection which is a shame. The zoom takes some getting used to, the A460 has cut down on buttons, less is more maybe. So nearly all functions work from the central thumb controller then a set and menu button. It takes a SD card, you get a 16mb with it which stores about 10 photos. Ugrade the card immediatley, pay about £10 for a 2GB one. I bought mine from Play.com. The photo quality is excellent, with crisp images, on tft monitor they are superb. The camera also comes with an easy print funtion conecting up to a canon photo printer however I cannot comment on this. Get some good rechargable batteries 2000 MhA at least, it is quiet thirsty. Over all I am happy with mine and would recommend it to others.
