Just one month ago I buy a Canon PowerShot A480, my first impression is this camera is very small even less than PowerShot A470. Later I know from the newspaper that the A480 is 25% smaller than the A470, but more convenient to use. The first time using this camera is very easy to use the buttons like zoom, mode and playback. PowerShot A480 also has a 10 megapixel sensor and 3.3x optical zoom for capturing every detail of images, with the sensor, the image can be printed large, up to A3 in size or 14R. Canon A480 also has 15 shooting modes that allows users to settings or find the appropriate mode or each time taking pictures. A480 also has Face Detection technology, this technology is able to detect up to nine faces in every frame. This technology will automatically adjust the focus exposure and flash settings for optimal setting. In addition, to maintain the image looks sharp this camera has a Motion Detection technology. This technology will change the appropriate settings in the display to identify subject motion and camera vibration. Then, to ISO will be optimized to minimize blur and maximize image quality

Advantages: Good face detection, very robust and a good looker. Disadvantages: Motion Detection Technology not all it is cracked up to be and other small niggles!
