For a digital camera it is quite chunky - which I actually liked - it was really nice to hold.
The zoom is also quite big compared to the camera and it felt a bit clumsy to use with some of the manual controls to play with (trying to keep it pointed at an object whilst changing settings etc..) I expect it would be even harder for a big handed bloke as some of the buttons do feel a bit fiddly.

I had good fun playing with the special effects and some of the framed shots of my baby niece looked lovely when printed out.
On movie mode - the microphone picked up everything in the background really badly. But that really is the only downside I have for this camera.
It takes most memory cards and dosen't need any additional/special purchases to be able to use it .
