This is a very nice and robust 2.0 megapixel camera with plenty of features.
It has 3x optical zoom, digital zoom and plenty of settings for setting up your shots manually as well as automatic settings for landscape shots, night shots and the like. It also makes very nice video clips. It also has an auto setting which adjusts the focus and settings automatically for you for an optimal shot but for the best shots just how you want them, there are a variety of manual setting modes to adjust the exposure time (how long the shutter is held open), aperture (amount of light that is allowed to pass the lens), ISO (sensitivty to light), flash intensity (brightness of flash), etc. to get the shot just how you want. Very useful features cameras in the price range usually don't have.
It also comes with a lead to connect the camera to your TV to view photos and videos and all the software you need to import your photos to your PC.
It is also a very easy camera to use. I've found that not all digital cameras are straight forward to use. This one is.
The picture quality is very nice on this camera. Nothing to complain about. Seems to take pretty impressive shots in all conditions.
The battery life seems to vary though. A good set of rechargeable batteries will last you a while in this camera. A set of alkaline batteries will last you no time so it'd be a good idea to invest in some rechargeables to go along with it.
A great little camera..... up until recently for me. I've been having lots of problems with the firmware on mine. First of all, the exposure on the manual settings was jammed on -2 so all pictures came out too dark. Now, the camera function doesn't work. You see for a split second what your aiming the camera at before the screen turns itself off and won't take any pictures, yet the video mode of the camera works fine. A very annoying fault.
