Advantages: Flip screen to protect from scratches when not in use Disadvantages: Takes 4 x AA batteries- a little bit bulky for me!
...results. I also own a Canon IXUS and although the IXUS range is much more compact and extremely good looking, I thought it natural to progress to something with a few more specs.
It is fairly bulky, but to me this is partially a good thing as I kept on losing my IXUS! The larger lens is fantastic and it's a great bonus being able to remove it and replace with alternative ones (eg a wide angle lens). It's got loads of features and auto settings, ... ...previous experience of dealing with Canon cameras) is the flip screen on the back. It is a major asset to be able to swing out the screen and flip it over to protect it from scratches when not in use. The only downfall I can think of is that it takes 4 x AA batteries. With my last camera I was quite used to plugging in a battery pack before using it each time, assured that it would not run out of juice. Saying this, I haven't had enough exprience ...

Advantages: Some fantastic pictures Disadvantages: Camera shape and weight
...one of the higher end Canon Digital Cameras.
The look of the camera is not great to be honest, and they could have done alot better. Its heavy look though matches its actual weight. The camera is very bulky. Nevertheless, depending on the price you might be able to get this camera for, its looks my longer matter. My friend recently bought this camera, and my personal experiences went from bad to suorisingly very good. The more you get used to using ... ...camera gets. One feature that slightly disappointed me about the camera, was the fact that the printing quality fell bellow the screen quality. This is a real draw back, but shoudl only effect the picture minimely, and could be me being picky

Advantages: AA batteries, flip screen, auto/manual, optical viewfinder Disadvantages: Not very quick at processing.
...read the screen. With the Canon A650 IS the optical viewfinder did not show the same amount as the screen and that was my only real complaint. Yes, it's a little bulky (300g - finding the right case did take some time) but very comfortable in my hands with all the buttons easily available. It's not pretty but the plastic construction feels sturdy enough for me. The flash is occasionally obtrusive but generally very efficient. It was only after seeing ... ...Ł228, no real loss. The camera has 21 other modes from fireworks to marina and full manual. The included memory card is too small to make sense but there are tele converters and external flashes available for those who want more. The flip screen is as posey as it is practical but my favourite feature was the removal of red eye from pictures already taken. The menu is clear and easy to navigate. As with all high pixel cameras (a whopping 12.1) there ...

Advantages: Good quality pictures, Optical image stabilization, Good features Disadvantages: Bad quality in bright sunny days, Reasonably big and bulky
Canon has always been known to make the best cameras on the market and yes it sure is TRUE.
This Canon is a 12 megapixel digital camera with a 6x optical zoom lens and many more features (Image stabilisation, Manual exposure) and many more features.
However when you take a picture outside you can notice the glare from the sun and picture quality is lower when its a sunny bright day then if it weren't a sunny bright day.
The Canon A650 IS packs ... ...the value is truly well. Good image quality and colour as well as good flash mode and and shutter.
A It also has movie mode, face detection in camera editing features and the LCD panel can be flipped 180 degrees to the left, so it flips out, pretty cool eh?
The body is plastic and the chassis is a mixture of plastic and metal... ...
