I've been lucky enough to have been using digital cameras for quite a while now, starting way back when they first came out with a Kodak model. Throughout the years I've tried many brands, but Canon has to be my all time favourite.

I had high expectations of this camera when I bought it, and quite frankly I was not disappointed. The unit itself is very stylishly designed and is of a very sturdy and high quality build. It's also quite compact as well. Aside from the aesthetics, this camera packs an awful lot of features in to it, one of my favourite being a "guided" process to create panoramic pictures, and the software to glue it all together.

The camera takes absolutely amazing pictures, at 4MP resolution. Colours come out extremely well, and the level of detail is very good quality. The battery life on this camera is also exceptionally good. The supplied re-chargable batteries last for around 2-3 hours of solid use, even with the LCD screen turned on.

The only real downside to this camera is a relatively steep learning curve if you're new to the world of digital photography. There are so many options and features crammed in to this small device that it can be quite difficult to figure out exactly what everything does.

There is also, unfortunately, quite a delay between pressing the "take picture" button, to when it actually does it, however this is mainly due to the automatic focus option on the camera, which can be turned off if needed.

All in all though, this is a great little unit and I would reccomend it to all!

Some more information would have been useful - how many pictures do you usually manage before the batteries are gone, is there any noticeable delay between pressing the button and it taking a picture... that kind of thing. Sam.
