Advantages high quality,good zoom
Disadvantages difficult for beginers
The Canon powershot SX1 IS is a gem of a product. It features the latest in technology and design and has awesome picture clarity. Although it can be a bit daunting to use for a newcomer, this thing works like magic once you get used to it. I found it very good to shoot moving images and it hardly gave me any blur effect.
The camera features a 10 megapixel with 20X optical zoom and shoots at 4 frames per second which is very good. I had a beautiful shot of the hills at sunset with this beauty of a product and that one picture alone negates any of the discomfort that you might find initially from using this product. This one's a stealer at 512 pounds so I suggest you get your hands on this one as fast as possible or gift it to your beloved and you'll see the extra love and affection that you'll get :)
