Slow colour printing, takes ages to prepare, no collecting tray

This is a cheap printer for those who don't want to spend a lot of money. Black and white printing is very fast, whereas colour printing takes a very long time, so this isn't a great choice if you want to print a lot of pictures.
The printer also takes about a minute to warm up and prepare for printing after switiching on, and it makes a lit of whirring noises during this time. There is also no tray for collecting print outs, though I assume this cuts the cost of the printer more.
The great thing about the I250 is the price of the ink. Unofficial black ink is around £1.50 and the colour is £2.50 from ebuyer. If you prefer original canon ones they are around £5 and £8 respectively.
I think the I250 has been discontinued, but it's replacement, the Canon PIXMA iP1000 is available for a shade under £30 at ebuyer.
