It measures approximately 15” wide, 7.5” high, and 6” deep. These measurements are without the paper trays being extended. The paper in feed tray extends up about 7” and the paper out tray extends about 7.5” at its full extent, but you can have only half of this tray out if there is not a lot of room. The Canon Bubble Jet i 350 Printer is made of sturdy plastic in a 2-tone colour of off-white on the main body and silver grey at the ends.
One of the reasons we liked this particular printer is that it has separate ink tanks for black and coloured inks. These ink tanks, I find, are very easy to install, and de-install. When we first got the Canon Bubble Jet i 350 Printer and unwrapped all the packaging we noticed how light it is to carry to where we were going to have it in respect of the proximity to our PC.
The connection to our PC was by a USB cable, which I feel is better than using conventional printer cables/connections. Once this was done, we found that installing the Canon Bubble Jet i 350 Printer was very easy indeed. The reason for this is that it came with its own set-up software and user’s guide in the form of a CD.
We found to set up the Canon Bubble Jet i 350 Printer was very easy indeed. We put the CD into the CD-ROM drive on the computer and just followed the on-screen instructions. Once the installation was completed, we restarted the computer and carried out our work and play as normal. The Quick Start Guide manual that comes with this printer is simple to understand, as the terms used are in plain layman’s English, and has many easy to follow diagrams.
Loading the paper is, again, a very simple procedure in my opinion. All we did was to place up to 100 sheets of A4 white paper against the right-hand guide that is on the top of the printer towards the back. We found there are no levers to release, as may happen with some other printers. To make sure the paper is set in the correct position, we moved the left-hand guide inwards a bit to hold the paper in place.
One good feature we like about the Canon Bubble Jet i 350 Printer is that it has a paper rest at the paper input area and a tray for when the printed documents come out at the front, bottom of the printer.
The on/off button is very easily accessible on top of the printer, so you do not have to go fiddling about trying to switch it on and off. This, in my mind, is an extremely useful feature of the Canon Bubble Jet i 350 Printer. It can be annoying if you don’t have a lot of room for your printer and then you have to be a contortionist just to switch it on and off.
Print quality, we find, is very good indeed. We have printed many documents, from Excel spreadsheets to job application letters and CV’s. The colour aspect of the printing is also very good in my mind. One other great feature is that the ink cartridges seem to last a very long time, even though we do a lot of both colour and black/white printing.
I think the speed of printing black and white documents is excellent, as the number can run at up about 15 copies per minute, depending on the amount of writing on the document. When printing documents that are coloured then the printing does slow down, but not significantly.
The technical features of the Canon Bubble Jet i 350 Printer include:
Compatible for Windows XP, Windows 2000, Windows 98, Windows Me USB, Macintosh OS8.6-9.x, and Macintosh OS X. To use the printer for Easy-PhotoPrint then Internet Explorer 4.0 or later must be installed. For Windows XP and Windows 2000 the available hard-disk space should be 50MB For Windows Me and Windows 98 the space should be 15MB For Mac OS 8.6-9.x the space should be 30MB For Mac OS X version 10.2.1 or later the space should be 100MB
Some additional system requirements are ( as per the instructions): Microsoft Internet Explorer 5.0 or later. Pentium 75 MHz equivalent or higher 2x or higher CD-ROM drive.
I can certainly recommend this printer for anyone wishing to buy, who has got limited space for one.
Advantages: Cheap, Good Looks, Speedy, Clear Prints, Crisp Edges, Cheap Cartridges Disadvantages: Can't Think of Any
The Canon i350 is a great printer; it is a brilliant all rounder for anyone really. It does quick black and white printing and nearly just as quick colour printing. Also on high mode it can almost be a great photo printer. Introduction

Canon are very nice to their customers, although unfortunately the company we bought the printer through, can’t remember who, hired some pretty dodgy drivers, that thought it would be okay to drive over rocks, fields and god only knows what else, before they got to our house. Obviously the printer was in bad shape when it arrived, so we called up Canon, and they arranged for it to be taken away and fixed/replaced. ...

Advantages: Small, fast and very good quality. Disadvantages: Ink cartridges could last longer.
The Canon i350 colour printer is the perfect option for home users or small office users looking for good value, high-quality prints.
The printer is generally termed as an Inkjet, but it in actual fact Bubblejet. This means that the ink on the print head is heated until it pops, and the result of that pop is printed on the page - helps maintain high standards of print quality.

Advantages: compact, fast balck and colour print Disadvantages: ink cartiridges run out quick
The Canon i350 is a small, easy to use and very suitable for home and office use. It is called a bubblejet printer due to the ink coming out in bubbles onto the page and has a better effect than inkjet printers.
With a fairly bid resolution per inch, 4800 x 1200 makes it a good printer for printing photos with or without borders, documents with high resolution pictures and almost anything you can think of.
It has a pretty imperesive print rate ... ...printer and comes with a guarentee.
You can by another ink cartridge every time it runs out but i advise getting them refilled at specail stores as it saves money and the environment.

Advantages: good quality prints Disadvantages: quite slow and takes ages to boot up
...let everyone know that my Canon i 350 is mainly employed to print 5 x 7 family photos and also quite a number of sheets of standard B&W documents. Photo quality on proper photo paper with the settings turned up to the maximum in the print quality settings is certainly good for a sub £60 printer. Some pixelation is visible on lighter parts of the print but from a distance the prints look of excellent sharpness and brightness. The other side to this ... ...come through though , sometimes up to 3 mins for a colour print out.
B&W printing is obviously a lot quicker and delivers fast reliable results time after time. The setup on this printer was straightforward however i think it was a bit long winded (taking nearly 1/2 hour). Take into consideration that you are getting a photoquality printer that can be then used to churn out all the office junk and this printer looks like a bargain but dont but if ...

Advantages: Compact, good print quality, easy set-up Disadvantages: initial pre-heating is noisy and takes 30secs, small paper tray, no both side printing
My main printer used to be an HP 995c inkjet printer. I had it for more than 6 years. Trying to save on ink, I ordered remanufactured ink from inkcycle. 51645A (No 45) at 5£ each is cheap but print quality was terrible. I could not even read the text printed on the paper. Don't buy from inkcycle, the quality of their remanufactured ink is terrible.
So I decided to make the switch to a laser printer, in June 2009. I wanted a color laser printer, because it is necessary to print some documents with colors (maps, etc). I was surprised to see that many color laser printers come at affordable prices.
Size and weight was an issue for me so I went for the smallest ones. My shortlist, based on smallest weight was:
- HP CP1515n (18kgs)
- CanoniSensys LBP 5050n (19 kgs)
- CanoniSensys LBP 5100 (18 kgs)
- Samsung CLP 350N (15kgs ...

I use it for Canon PIXMA IP1500 ptinter. It is very easy to install and check ink status. It contains three colors: cyan, magenta, and yellow. I mainly use it to print photos. It produces very wonderful color.
If you use above types of Canon printers, try this color cartridge. You will like it. ...

As you know from my previous review of the Canon350 camera, I'm not very good on technical stuff, so don't expect it from this review either!
I bought this printer at the same time as I bought my digital camera, because I needed a photo printer. My main reason for choosing this one was because of it's looks, when you close up all the panels you get this futuristic black box, very attractive looking shiny black panels with silver trim.
When I stopped drooling over the way it looked and actually read the specification leaflet they put out with it, I was even more impressed. The printer has a droplet size of 1, which is the smallest currently available. This means that the pictures produced can be very highly detailed indeed, the resolution is 9600 x 2400 dpi (dots per square inch), which is quite a lot, and is actually finer than ...
