A good all-rounder. Set-up is a breeze. Dead fast on text, though it slows down quite a bit on photos. Pretty easy to use and maintain - very little maintenance is required - I've never had to clean the print heads since I got it a year ago!
Here's the big plus though: official conumables are from as little as £5 & £10 ea at time of writing. That sure beats the £30-odd I used to pay Epson!
I've not had any problems with the Canon driver to date, and find its range of features impressive, though I never really need to use them - it does most of it by itself. It also copes fine over by peer-to-peer (2 computer) network, though you do need to know a little about networking.
Quality is good for people like me with a 2MP digital camera and colourful documents, but anybody who's a digital camera enthusiast should aim for a more expensive printer. I do a lot of stuff thathas to be presnted to people in a good way and it's great for that, but wedding photographers should look elsewhere!
For the money, this is excellent and I would not hesitate to recommend this to anybody (except maybe a REAL enthusiast willing to spend £100's). That said, it can struggle on processing stuff when connected to slow computers.

Would like to know more about print quality, features and reliability of the Canon driver software (had problems with their drivers in the past).
