The Canon i470D Photo Printer gives you incredible printing flexibility and increased speed. First, its built-in slots for memory cards support a wide variety of media formats. You can also connect a compatible Canon digital camera or digital camcorder directly to the i470D Photo Printer. There's no PC required because of the flexibility of the Bubble Jet Direct technology built-in. The i470D Photo Printer comes with the unique Canon Photo Viewer feature that can be activated when connected to a PC, allowing for fast viewing and printing of digital images. You can display images directly on your computer monitor and use your PC's CPU for high-speed printing. The i470D Photo Printer achieves speeds of up to 18 ppm in black and up to 12 ppm in color, along with a resolution of up to 4800 x 1200 color dpi. Canon advanced MicroFine Droplet Technology uses a revolutionary nozzle system that ejects consistent prescribed-volume droplets in microscopic sizes. A newly designed print head produces 5-picoliter and ultra-fine 2-picoliter droplets for smooth, more photo-realistic images. The i470D Photo Printer also enables you to print edge-to-edge true borderless photos with the look and feel of a traditional photograph. Print 4" x 6" photos fast - in approximately 93 seconds. The i470D Photo Printer supports the worldwide standard Exif 2.2 (Exchangeable Image Format File), so when an Exif-compliant camera captures a photo, important camera settings and shooting conditions are saved in the JPEG image file. Canon exclusive Easy-PhotoPrint software analyzes the recorded data and then automatically adjusts printer driver settings for optimum image processing. And Canon Easy-WebPrint (Windows only) software is designed for simple, fast and hassle-free Web page printing.

I use it for Canon PIXMA IP1500 ptinter. It is very easy to install and check ink status. It contains three colors: cyan, magenta, and yellow. I mainly use it to print photos. It produces very wonderful color.

...The Cannon BJC 4200 was a fairly good printer in its time. Now a days as newer models have been produced, it is falling well below standards. The quality of the print out is not particularly high quality and tends to be fairly slow. The ink cartridges need to be replaced regularly, which could be a problem if you have a large document to print out. However newer models from cannon are up to date and meet all modern specifications. I wouldn’t recommend this printer to you, instead go for a newer model....

...I have had lots of scanners and I have found the Canon CanoScan LiDE 35 to be the best on I have ever used. Very easy to use, good scan relation, and picture quality. I use mine for all sorts of projects. My friends have other type's of scanners and I have got three of them to get a Canon CanoScan LiDE 35. And they will say the same as me.
It's the best one you can bye for a very, very low price. It's very light and easy to transport, if your scanner in the office is not up to scratch then take in you Canon CanoScan LiDE 35 and do the job right. Runs off USB2 with very little power taken from you PC. And as the advert says if anyone can Cannon Can....
