Manufacturer's product description
Canon has set a new standard in the way digital prints are produced with the all-new next generation pigment ink imagePROGRAF iPF5000 17" printer. The iPF5000 printer is designed to satisfy the most critical printing needs of all types of digital artists. This extraordinary printer ties in the new LUCIA pigment ink with innovative hardware to produce brilliant eye-catching output that's ready in minutes. The 12-color pigment ink system provides superior color stability and print longevity while dramatically expanding the color gamut. With the combination of the two gray and two black inks, the iPF5000 produces crisp, neutral monochrome output. The new L-COA print controller intelligently processes print data and directs the two high-precision, high-density (30, 720 nozzles) print heads to lay down ink with unprecedented speed and accuracy.

Advantages: Good software, small, slim Disadvantages: None
...The first things that you notice about the Canon FB630Ui scanner are the striking blue colour of the lid, and the diminutive size. Set up is pretty straightforward provided you know how to install software - the manual is not as helpful as it should be. The scanner itself takes power via the USB port so there's less leads to trail. Scanning a document is reasonably quick, and the one touch button to launch the relevant software is very useful. Supplied software is pretty comprehensive also. For a simple, inexpensive scanner, the Canon FB630Ui is hard to beat....

...The Cannon BJC 4200 was a fairly good printer in its time. Now a days as newer models have been produced, it is falling well below standards. The quality of the print out is not particularly high quality and tends to be fairly slow. The ink cartridges need to be replaced regularly, which could be a problem if you have a large document to print out. However newer models from cannon are up to date and meet all modern specifications. I wouldn’t recommend this printer to you, instead go for a newer model....

Advantages: Good clean relatively cheap printer Disadvantages: Slow
...The canon s100 is a good value for money printer. It is plug and play so you just plug it into your USB port and that is it, you dont have to install drivers or restart your computer. As usual canon has made a brilliant printer. The canon s100 can print alot of pages in a small cartridge and is small and can be fitted into the smallest of spaces.
The canon S100 is very stylish but also very reliable, it may not be able to stand up to laser printers or photo printers but it is less than a quarter of the price and for home use is all you will need unless you have exceptiponal circumstances.
This printer takes about 1 minute to print 1 full page of text. It takes about 2 minutes to print a colour photo. The S100's ink cartirdges can be as little as £2 each and last for a long time, this if you ask me is brilliant valiue for money as some...
