Advantages: Features, Low-light capability Disadvantages: A little confusing to master and a little too expensive
The Fuji FinePix F70EXR is billed by the manufacturer as the slimmest 10x zoom camera on the market and, at less than 23mm in depth, it is certainly very easy and convenient to carry around. The zoom is great for magnification, being the equivalent of 27-270mm in 35mm terms, but I found it to be a little fuzzy at the long end. There is also a 4x digital zoom for anyone who wants it.
The FinePix F-series cameras are renowned for their low-light (high ISO) capabilities and the F70EXR should be no exception, sharing as it does the 1/2 inch sensor of the F200EXR but with 2 million fewer pixels crammed onto it. Also the EXR technology is great for combating noise on higher ISO shots.
Obviously the F70EXR is small, compact and lightweight and, in general, feels great to hold, with all the controls being conveniently placed ? apart from ...
Advantages: 11.6 1366 x 768 screen, ext. DVD drive, 320GB HDD, Windows 7 installed, webcam buit-in Disadvantages: No N-wireless, could be a little lighter in weight.
I had been looking for a netbook for some time now. I had put my seach on hold until Windows 7 released and then ensure I could buy a product with it pre-installed.
Due to extensive research I had started to look at the ultra-portable segment as the prices were coming down and they offered more processing power and features that a regular 10.1" netbook!
I made my choice and bought the HP Pavilon dm1-1030sa notebook. It is in short excellent! The "extras" over the regular netbook, make great value for money if you want a little more from it!
It is well made and finished well, even comes with an external DVD Lightscribe writer! The HDMI output is a top feature for me, it will allow connection to the HD TV.
If I had any concerns, it would be with the lack of N wireless and it is a little heavier (1.5Kg) than netbooks ...

Denon have an excellant reputation of producing home entertainment components of an awesome standard. They have produced over the years some fantastic benchmark products, and the Denon DM30 is no exception. Voted as the best micro hifi for atleast three years, Denon DM30 is an excellant product.
With micro systems available from just £50, some people may find it hard to justify spending about £220, but for those who desire good audio perfomance this is an essential product. I can provide three good fundamental reasons to spend more money when purchising a micro hifi, they are
1) Sound. A more expensive micro system, such as the Denon DM31 will provide MUCH better audio performance. You will be more enganged in the music and will want to listen to more music.
2) Durability. The lifetime of cheaper micro hifis under £150 is litte ...

The Canton DM 70 All-in-one system is particularly compact. With its integrated subwoofer and amplifier it offers maximum surround sound feel in the smallest of spaces. It can easily be placed underneath a flat screen or on a shelf and is easy to control using the remote control supplied.
