***MY ENGAGEMENT WITH HER. [5/5]***
WILL YOU MARRY ME? Would have been the first thing I would have blurted if the KENWOOD HM602 were alive. She was proudly seated in her throne adorning a tiara when I went to the Kenwood Outlet to get my Kenwood Food Processor ( 1982 Model ) checked. Though the store manager could not help me with the FP, he did let me have a feel of the HM602. Was she good? Man, she was BRILLIANT with that Pseudo classical look she’s got, she could fit into any décor. Just scroll down to see the detailed review: -

Advantages: Amazing sound, great build quality. Disadvantages: Needs careful positioning to stop the bass becoming 'boomy'.
...a few more years and i've not got a new place with a larger room. It's then I realise my old Sony speakers just aren't up to the job any more.

Build quality is excellent. They feel solid and robust...

...602/S3, which just had that bit more base compared to their smaller brothers, and were still in my budget (I paid £300 for the pair). These speakers have a 25 mm metal dome tweeter and a 180mm kevlar mid/bass driver, and are rated at 25-120 Watts. For more technical specifications, see the link below. I also bought a Pioneer DVD/SACD player and complemented the system with an older Pioneer amp that I still had, with the intention to upgrade as soon as my financial situation had recovered...
The B&W speakers were supplied in a large box, well protected, with manuals and two foam plugs (see later). I chose the light wood variety, but black is also an option. Both were on stock at my local Hifi dealer (Leicester Hifi Co, can recommend them highly!) as was the DVD player.
Setting up the system was straightforward as my supplier had made...

I brought the Ergo after my 7 month old got too heavy for the Baby Bjorn carrier we had.
I love this as it doesnt have a frame and I didnt want anything too bulky. You can put it in your shopping bag and use it when your little one gets tired of walking... more
