I recieved my forms in the post, completed them and sent them back.
I then waited 3 weeks with no word from Capital One.
Another week passed and i recieved my PIN number, I called the Customer Service Line and listened to a recorded message informing me that the PIN number will arrive roughly 7 days AFTER my card.
After speaking to 2 Operators I was assured my card was on its way...so I waited...and waited...waited...and waited.
Numerous calls from me to very rude operators, I was worried about the length of time that had elapsed and simply trying to locate my card...to no avail.
Finally, after another 4 weeks I rec'd a letter from Capital One. Upon opening this i was shocked to discover that this was in fact a monthly statement!!!!!!
Although the balance was Zero I was disgusted that they clearly hadnt noted my calls or attempts to find my card and would send me a statement when I have never rec'd the credit card!
I called Customer Service and cancelled the account immediatley - if this reflects the 'Customer Service' of Capital One then I want no part of it.

I apologise for the low rating, but to be honest, you really do need to include more information. The idea of ciao stems back to the idea that you are rating a product to someone who has never heard of it and so by way of this, you need to put a couple of lines about the choices you made to take with capital one and why they were less great than you expected. Please don't take this as an insult, I am only trying to help you better your ratings. If you are just generally warning people of specific problems, then I would do as Nar suggests. Thank you for your comments - however my understanding of this site is not to reiterate content already provided on the products website but give a personal review of your own feelings and opinion of the porduct.

Good start - however, I would like to know more about the application process, the APR and Interest. If you revise the review I will be happy to re-rate.
