...Beware! This machine has a potential safety issue. The mains filter unit 'blew up' and may have even ignited on our machine (or caused ignition of secondary materials) and probably only as a result of short circuiting from wires whose sleeving had been melted off did the household RCD trip and prevent what may have become more serious damage. When the cover was moved for repair there was a lot of charring above the filter and the filter itself was a very interesting sight. I'm still waiting to hear from Caple after sending them the incident report. The fact that they have not beaten a path to my door to get more information to work out the root cause (let alone acknowledge my report) says something about how seriously they take safety issues in their products. Advantages: good for the price, microwave, grill & convection cooking

...This microwave is good value for the price it has a stainless steel finish and works well; but I would not recommend it to anyone who has not cooked with a microwave oven before. The heat settings on it are not easy to work out this model must have been designed by a mathmatician. Skip this next bit if you are short of time and are willing take my word for it that it is complex to calculate what microwave output to set it to. To calculate what heat setting to use you do not use the numbers that are on most models such as 850 or 750 that would be too easy. What you do is you turn the dial to P100 which =100% (850) if you want to micowave on the top setting, or one of the other lower settings . Now it gets tricky what if you want to cook it on less than that ? You select one of the other settings which raange from P10 - P100... Read review
