Morgana could accept Nash's scepticism and, fortunately for him, she found him outrageously attractive as well as endearingly sweet. But could an ordinary man handle being in love with a rather extraordinary woman?

This is an excellent story, I first read it when I was about 15, and have since read it at least another 10 times since then.
Captivated is the first book of a quartet about the Donovan Cousins, Morgana, Sebastian, Anastasia and Liam. Each one of them has their own special legacy which was passed on down through their blood from Finn of the Celts, making them hereditary witches.
Nash Kirkland is a successful LA horror screenwriter who had just recently relocated to Monterey, to get away from the hustle and bustle of LA and an unsuccessful relationship. One of the reasons for him moving to Monterey was due to someone telling him about a self proclaimed Witch living in the area whilst he was researching for a previous screenplay. So the sceptical Nash walks into Morgana's shop "Wicca" looking for a witch, and unbeknown to him he's found the real thing.
The moment that Nash walked through the door Morgana was drawn to him, even though her gift was one of conjuring and not the sight she knew without a doubt that they would be lovers before long, even if it wasn't what she wanted. She agreed to help Nash with his research. She is open and honest about her gifts but she can tell that Nash doesn't really believe her; due to this her temper rises and she does a few minor spells to convince him.
Things start going really well between the two of them, Nash even starts to fall in love with Morgana until a phone call from the past ruins things, reminding him of all that he has come from and the legacy of an unloving childhood which he believes leaves him unable to love. He then starts to believe that he is under a spell and he accuses Morgana of just that. Well let's just say he makes a fool of himself and then tries to put things right once he realises.
I really do love this series, the characters are all so life like, they'll have you laughing, crying and unable to put the book down, and when you do finish this one you'll want to go onto read Entranced, which is about Sebastian Donovan who helps a beautiful private investigator find a kidnapped baby.
Advantages: Great charaters, fast paced romantic plot. brilliant read. Disadvantages: None
Mary Ellen Sutherland; but in order to get the baby David back they have to work together.
Sparks fly between the two of them as they try to follow the path that the kidnappers had taken with David. Mel has a hard time believing in Sebastian's so called gifts, but the further they go the more she starts to see that there is something to what he say's.
Once they find David they go under cover in order to bring down the baby selling ring that they find was responsible for David's kidnapping.
I have to say that out of the entire quartet that this has to be the best story. The interaction between Sebastian and Mel is electrifying, making it difficult to put the book down. If you're a NoraRoberts fan this is definitely a book you should read especially if you've read 'Captivated'.
The next book in the Donovan Legacy series is 'Charmed ...
