best i've ever owend! Advantages: unbeleavable performance! Sony CDX-GT 44 IP - nice little unit Advantages: Good value for money Disadvantages: Not compatible with the ipod touch I got the Sony CDX-GT 44IP as a present a couple of months ago, as my friend bought another one. It's a great little item. Sound: The sound quality is very good. Much better than you would expect it for this sort of price. As it was a present I cannot tell you how much I paid. But you'll find it in the internet for about £73. Considering this price is a brilliant item with a lot of features found normally on much higher priced units. It comes with ... ...i a car but can be a nice little extra. It works with most ipods but unfortunately not with the iPod touch. The installation instructions are very good. There will not be any problems. It has the ability to connect up an amp further which enhances the sound. Another problem is, that it can be a bit of a pain to find a song, if you have a lot on your ipod. Big things come in small packages!!! Advantages: small, great power output, durable Disadvantages: a little expensive ...for over a year now. Alpine came out with some amazing technology with this amplifier. It produces 1000watts rms at both 2 ohm and 4 ohm loads. and its not kidding. i have 2 12in alpine type r subwoofers in my trunk hooked up to this thing with a ported box and man it gives you some amazing highs and lows. with exeptional soud quaility and clarity due to the digital power this thing puts out. Great Sound! Advantages: Good Sound, romote control, Mp3 Disadvantages: Display, do not handle roughly I had the KDC -M60216 installed in my bluebired sss u13 back in may 2009 and i must admit that i was quite shocked the the quality of sound even though i was using my original speakers and no equalizer. But as of September 2009 I've added an equalizer, new speakers and and amplifier and the new sound is really like WOW! incredible! This is also a great buy. It plays MP3s, which is always good, we can simply stuff a CD with mp3 tracks and have hours ... ...which makes it alot easier to quickly flip through your mp3 cd. On a down not the display could have been a bit better, in my opinion the best display actually is the display with the file name.
