I bought a Renault Clio 172 Cup from Lookers Renault in April 2004. The car was an ex-demonstrator, I had an incident with the car where I needed some repair work done to one of the wings...whereon I was advised by the bodyshop that some 'touch-up' paint had been used to cover damage! The even more mortifying thing was that there was a Renault Megane 225 which had been front-ended and this would have been repaired in-house, and therefore not declared on the HPI reports for that car, just like it wasn't for mine. I would never purchase another car from them due to my experiences...I went to a dealer as I thought that would be the best to go to a Renault dealer rather than private or through a backstreet dealer. ... ...chose to telephone my local Volkswagen approved repairer. I bought the car from them and have used their service department so this was a natural decision for me. The call was handled very promptly and professionally. I was advised that I would not need an appointment for an estimate and was asked when would suit me best. They took my details and those of my car and gave me directions as the bodyshop is not on the same site as the main showroom. ...

(They were restoring an old MG alongside the many Audis and Volkswagens) What particularly appealed was the efortlessness as they took care of everything for me and were prepared to spare me the time I wanted, when I wanted it. Disadvantages: Buying a BMW used car from a main dealer could prove to be a nightmare

...months ago, I purchased a BMW 323ci convertible from Vines of Guildford who are BMW main dealers. The car is 8 years old and had just over 47000 miles on the clock. It was sold with a BMW used car warranty but with certain exclusions due to its age, explained to me after I had paid a deposit on it. Hi, Less than six months ago I purchased for my son a 3 year old Citreon C4 Sx. Top of its price range but for him it ticked all of the right boxes (Black, Low Profile Tyres etc). The only problem was that the glove box was missing the clip so it would not close. I was assured that one we be ordered and would be fitted within the week. After over 10 calls to the service department and the salesman that sold me the car I am still being ignored. ...

I have had my peugeot 308 hdi 90 for two months now,I bought it new on the 1st sept.This is my intrim review for this car. ...gone and took it into peugeot to be told its ok.The performance of this car is fine:The engine's performance figures are a 0-62mph time of 10.1 seconds and a top speed of 129mph.
