I have purchased many big name products for 5 vehicles totaling £35,000. The last £5,000 spent was on JL Audio products. I was disappointed with the Orion XTR subs, the MTX 5000 Series subs,the Kicker 15" square solobaric's seemed to be just hype. My review of the JVC CS-V 525 car speakers

Advantages: Price, crisp high ends and good mid range
Disadvantages: bass not very good, could be louder

...Here's my review of the JVC CS-V 525. Firstly I am actually sitting in my car whilst I type so I can give a more comprehensive description of the sound quality. I bought these speakers of Ebay for £21.99 with free delivery so the value is'nt bad. I replaced my stock Peugeot 306 door speakers with these and needed an adaptor to fit the wiring which again I got of Ebay for around £3.50.
