Advantages: phat bass!
Disadvantages: speakers are quite deep, so be sure to check your install depth available

...along with a set of VDO 6" splits. I've tried numerous big name brands of speakers (Sony, Pioneer, Kenwoord, JVC), and these VDOs out-do all of them! The speakers provide it all, very clear treble and mid range sound, bit more importantly they have fantastic base. I found that with a full set of VDO speakers (6x9's in the rear plus the 6" splits in the front) running through a 4 channel amp I did not even need a sub. Just be sure to get the HSP range ...
...out her Hyundai Tiburon with VDO speakers. Only word of caution is that these badboys have a massive magnet on the back of them, so size-wise they are quite deep. Be sure to check the installation depth available as they require more depth space then your average speaker. The VDO brand is not as well regarded as others, but I can not speak highly enough of these speakers. Give a set a go and you will not be disappointed! ...

My review of the JVC CS-V 525 car speakers

Advantages: Price, crisp high ends and good mid range
Disadvantages: bass not very good, could be louder

...Here's my review of the JVC CS-V 525. Firstly I am actually sitting in my car whilst I type so I can give a more comprehensive description of the sound quality. I bought these speakers of Ebay for £21.99 with free delivery so the value is'nt bad. I replaced my stock Peugeot 306 door speakers with these and needed an adaptor to fit the wiring which again I got of Ebay for around £3.50. One other dissapointing factor is I couldn't fit the speaker bracket or grill due to the irregular size so I just used my stock peugeot grills to cover the speaker. Superb quality active 12" sub

Advantages: High power, Good Response, Simple to use and install
Disadvantages: None

Pure Bass. Buy it, play it, love it.

Advantages: Pure Bass, Great look, easy to install, great price.
Disadvantages: Might take some space, need a good amplifier

Get the most from your Car Sound System

Advantages: Great accustics for useing in the car
Disadvantages: Base and treble are in the same speaker and the base itself is poor without an equalizer

If you think to replace your old car speakers on something newer, then these are the right ones. Why? 1. Base and Pitch speakers 2 in one. 2. 130Watt is just enough for you as long as you sit less than a meter from them, your feet will be shaking. 3.
