As a 100.000 mles a year long distance courier driver, a good sat nav is very important to me. updated because my old sat nav, at 3 years old, was getting a bit dated. OLD SAT FINDS ROADS THAT 200W CANT. maps seem 2 be way out of date. the only sat nav that i know off that does not have traffic light camara's warning. had i known this, it would have been the one thing that would have stopped me buying it. Advantages: simple operation inbuilt safety camera detection comprehensive coverage
Disadvantages: mounting suction cup prone to lose grip on bumpy roads

The TomTom one xl is in my opinion the best navigation aid in it,s price range. Further I would with no hesitation say. it gives systems out there that cost £3000 or more a run for their money. Advantages: Ease of use. Price.
Disadvantages: Seems to like "scenic routes"!!.
