British English not so British!

Advantages: Ease of use. Price.
Disadvantages: Seems to like "scenic routes"!!.

As a 100.000 mles a year long distance courier driver, a good sat nav is very important to me. updated because my old sat nav, at 3 years old, was getting a bit dated. OLD SAT FINDS ROADS THAT 200W CANT. maps seem 2 be way out of date. the only sat nav that i know off that does not have traffic light camara's warning. had i known this, it would have been the one thing that would have stopped me buying it. Sat nav for a bicycle?

Advantages: Effective, efficient and useful - reasonably priced.
Disadvantages: No facility for an easy battery change of replacement.

Why and Why not to get a Garmin 550

Advantages: It gets you where you need to go
Disadvantages: Low volume, batterry life is short

I was so excited to get my GPS. I had been wanting and needing one for a long time now. This unit has good and bad qualities as I'm sure they all do.
