Bosh Aero Twin
Advantages: Clean, modern look, effective at keeping the screen clean, easy to fit Disadvantages: not cheap
...blades. I opted for the Bosch version, knowing them to be a good brand.
http://www.wiperblades.co.uk/bosch-ar533s-wiper-blades/?Make=113&Model=1513&Mark=852&Year=2001&Position=5&ID=39&Ref=prod-info
As you can see, the design is quite different. Flat and aero dynamic, it sits flush on the windscreen, out of sight (mostly) until needed. The wiper(s) are fantastic at their job too. They keep the windscreen water free much more effectively than the ... ...bugs without splattering their remains across the glass. The retro-fit blades slot easily onto the old arms. Disturbingly, they actually clip in place more easily than the original blades that were intended for the arms. The blades aren’t cheap, they set me back £25 for the pair, but I have heard rumours that they last years. Time will tell. ...

Bend those Beamers
Advantages: Safe and efficient Disadvantages: Designed for single use only
Over the course of many years I have driven on the Continent numerous times in both my own vehicles and hired cars. Each time I have driven a hired car (once I have finished complaining that the gear stick is on the wrong side) I have been struck by how much better the night vision and headlamp performance seems than when I dive my own car abroad. This is undoubtedly due to the fact that I used to insist on creating my own beam deflectors from black ... ...bits were very effective at cutting out the light rather than just directing it away from the centre of the European roads. Moreover living on the .south coast and near to busy cross channel ferry services I am very critical of foreign drivers who come to our shores, do nothing to adapt their headlamps to be suitable for our roads and proceed to blind and dazzle me with what feels to be full on beam headlamps. I appreciate then that notwithstanding ...

Terrible Customer Service and No Product Knowledge
Advantages: Purchased through amazon so have comeback, quick to deliver, decent range of items Disadvantages: rude and unprofesssional customer service, lack of product knowledge, slow to respond, unhelpful
...H3c. The light supplied by Turborevs was a H1 fitment. It would have fit but would have required butchering the fitting. So I replaced the originals and contacted Turborevs through Amazon. I heard nothing for over a month and so contacted them again. I received a reply from someone called Jav who informed me that he hadn't received an email from me (which was proved by the copy sent to me from Amazon). He said he would exchange it but that I would ... ...him the copy of the Amazon email and said I did not think it was fair that I should have to pay shipping for their mistake. He also denied it was their mistake and that the bulb would fit. I emailed him back referring him to proof of the correct type of bulb needed and that I was not willing to pay postage for their error. I received an email in return saying it was not wrong, that they would not pay postage and had the cheek to add that if I did ...

* Happy New Year. New wiper blades too? . .
Advantages: Very efficient blades. Disadvantages: Expensive.
Trico NEOFORM Blades are the newest in wiper blade design, and have only recently been introduced. These are also known as flat or beam blades.
These Trico NeoForm Beam Blades, represent the future of the wiper industry, in both performance and also styling. They are designed to compliment the aesthetics of today's vehicles.
Wiper blades have always had a bad press, they are only fitted when strips of ruber are hanging off your old ones, or for ... ...cars, as well as buses and trucks too.
Trico have been making wiper blades since 1917, and have quite a reputation, they invented the first multi-edge wiper blade in the 1920s. The company does have a good website, take a look here:- http://www.tricoproducts.com/index.cfm?locationid=36

* Put the Metal to the Pedal! . .
Advantages: Looks not at all bad. Disadvantages: Expense, need to be fitted correctly.
Momo Pedal kit.
I have used these, and find them as good as some manufacturers original equipment i.e. the pedals the makers fitted. These actually fit over the originals, so are in exactly the same place, just slightly higher. This of course means you have to lift your foot that little extra, which I find ever so slightly less efficient than the ones the factory fitted.
The kit is advertised as the Porsche style, and for competition use, although ... ...used the first experimental products Momo ever made, and Monza is of course the famous motor racing circuit.
