Basic workhorse which matches its rivals
Review of Thule Freeride 575 Bike Carrier by blackpuddinonnabike

Advantages: Cheap; Secure; Lockable; Easy to mount a bike
Disadvantages: Looks basic

...safely and securely. The Thule 575 is a perfect example of a product which does exactly what it's supposed to do, with very little fuss, and for incredibly reasonable value. Use of this carrier is simplicity itself. The front and rear wheels of the bike sit in plastic cradles at either end of the carrier, you lift the central arm up so that the clamp is around the downtube on the bike (the one that runs down from the front of the bike to the cranks) ...
...are then secured by straps around the cradle which 'ratchet' into place with a hard pull. Different width down tubes are easily accommodated with the lever on the clamp able to be placed in two different positions, and turning it clockwise or anti-clockwise to screw in the gap narrower or wider. The lever, once closed and holding the bike, can also be locked. The carrier itself attaches to the roof bars either by straps, or with Thule's T-Track ... Read review

* Put the Pedal to the Metal! . .
Review of Momo Pedal Kit Match Anthracite by smudgeybabes

Advantages: Can provide grip, can look good.
Disadvantages: Can become loose, expensive.

Momo now sell a wide range of fittings for sporting cars, and to be honest the Momo pedal kits are typical of the modern products. The equipment they sell nowadays, is in my opinion, mainly for show, and although it may look sporty, it does not actually do anything for the performance of the car, The fact is, in some circumstances, these could be counter productive, as these pedal "covers" are actually mounted on top of the existing pedals. This ...
...find the complete range of Momo product in most motor accessory shops, and the price is likely to vary quite a bit, as with all products of this type, shop around. You will find similar products to these by other companies, which are just as good. I hear you are saying that the name Momo rings a bell, you are thinking of very small steering wheels, fitted to 1970's Minis and such like, neither practical, nor comfortable, very ugly too. Perhaps you ... Read review

...The actual firm of Race X has a bit of history, they have been on the go for quite a while now, and they are starting to get a very good name. The company does sell quite a large range of styling equipment, that the younger customers (they are all younger than me) and sell whateve these clients need to make their cars look better, A lot of items t hey sellare purely cosmetic, however, they do look pretty good, Although not what I would call improvements, ... * MOMO Most Obnoxious in My Opinion . .
Review of Momo Hand Brake Pit Stop Carbon by smudgeybabes

Advantages: Only the looks - if they appeal to you.
Disadvantages: Not very good in my opinion.

...and you would be right. Momo have been making steering wheels for over forty years now, and the first one to be actually sold on a commercial basis, was made for the famous John Surtees! He drove for Ferrari at the time, and the fact that he won, helped launch a business that spread all over the world immediately. Ferrari actually started fitting these wheels as standard! The name Momo, came from MORETTI-MONZA Moretti being the racing driver who ...
...they say, is history. Momo now do a wide range of fittings for racing cars, and to be quite honest the handbrake grips are typical of the modern products. The equipment they sell, is mainly for show, and although it may look good,it does not actually do anything for the performance of the car, or indeed the driver. The handbrake grips are made to look like carbon fibre, although to be honest I think they look like plastic. I do like the leather on ... Read review
