I have had T-cut in my car care kit for five years now and would be in trouble without it. I first bought it to put the shine back onto my first car, then to repair some damage after another driver reversed into my car and most recently to remove spray paint from my car.
RESTORING THE PAINTWORK
T-Cut can really bring back the shine to your car, especially when you are trying to sell your car and need to distract the buyer from the large rust hole in the passenger side wing. Didn't work to distract the buyer, but he was impressed by the shine in the rest of the paint work.
COVERING SCRATCHES.
With my second car, I was crossing a junction and passed behind a stationary car. They didn't see me and reversed back into my rear door. The damage was largely superficial and only left a few scratch marks and some rubber from the bumper. I used a cloth to clear off some of the rubber and clear the dirt off. Once it dried, I used T-cut to clean it further and cover the scratches. Unfortunately, the T-cut exposed the metalwork underneath and left a few bare spots.
T-CUT and RESPRAYS
I spoke to a garage and they suggested spray painting the lower portion of the door. This would restore the door to the previous standard and as the other driver was paying for it, I said OK. They sprayed the area and it reacted with something in the T-cut. This meant that the paintwork was now worse than before. The only option was to "barcode" the area and paint on top of this. So be warned, don't use T-cut to cover up scratches if you might have to respray the area if it doesn't work.
REMOVING SPRAYPAINT
I recently went to my car one morning to find that some vandal had decided my car could use some redecorating. Suffice to say, I wasn't too impressed and after the police had taken the details and a few pictures, I popped to Halfords for some T-cut. It took about and hour and a fair bit of elbow grease, but the T-cut cleared all the spray paint from the bodywork and left no evidence. Well, other than a really shiny car.
CONCLUSION
T-cut is a great product and can restore your cars paintwork to its original shine. I would recommend that everyone has a bottle in their possession. Be sure to mention that you have used it to a the bodyshop if you need to.

T-Cut comes in most shades and gives you four shades of which one should match your colour. I found that I got an exact match so off home. I rolled up my sleeves and got on with it. It is recommended for most paint finishes including metallic.

It comes in 500 ml and 1 litre plastic bottles. It has the simple instructions on the reverse of bottle and the usual warnings i.e avoid eye contact. Do not swallow etc All common sense really but sometimes necessary.
I purchased my 500 ml bottle from Motor World for £8.99 A little more expensive than other polishes but I found it cost effective as it cleans and covers small blemishes.

I use T-Cut to restore old bikes in my bike club at New City Primary School. We were given an old red BMX and the T-Cut brought it up like new. It is great stuff. I started using T-Cut on my old car many years ago and thought it might be useful on bikes. I restore about 100 bikes a year and use T-Cut on about a quarter of them. It brings up the original shine and gets difficult marks off the paintwork. I have been teaching my team of helpers how to use and they too are delighted with the results. I don't know of any other substance on the market which is so good. I used it once to geta scatch out of my much newer car and result was excellent.

My previous car was a metro gta in solar red because it was getting on in car years it begin showing its age ,colour wise and being red any marks or fading showed up like a saw thumb so i popped down to my local car accessory shop where they recommended Carplan T-cut color fast it was £7.99 for a 500ml bottle it came in various colours and diffrent shades.
I picked the red which was the closest colour match to my car When i got home i had a quick ...
...washing the car with a car shampoo and then dry which i did.
Then it came to applying the color fast it reccomended applying a small amount to a damp cloth then rubbing on body work in a circular motion then leave to haze then remove and buff with a lint free cloth so i did.
The T-cut color fast is the same color as indicated on the bottle in my case red it was easy to apply and didnt take long to haze Removing and buffing took seconds to my suprise ...

My car is a vauxhall cavalier and is about 10 years old and its metallic mid blue in colour.I tried this stuff on it and it gave outstanding results.Firstly you shampoo wash your car and dry with a clean lint free cloth then apply a small amount of T cut to a clean cloth and rub in to your car paintwork applying to small sections at a time allow to haze and buff off with a clean dry cloth, it really works a treat and brings up a new depth of colour ...
...you have done the whole car omiting anything that isnt paintwork on the car you then must put on a car polish as the paintwork will reoxidise causing the paintwork to dull again.It really is great stuff and last for ages and cost between £3 &£5 depending on where you by of course.
