Ten things I Hate about You Tobi.

Advantages: It looks good. It has essentially got good features
Disadvantages: It just doesn't live up to promises

I bought this when I had my baby as it was apparently the best on the market and I really can't find fault with it at all it has been the most reliable of our baby products and can't rate it highly enough. This car seat is different from others as it is suitable for up to 9 months whilst the majority of others are just up to 6 months. The seat is well padded and has a 'head hugger' so it is safer for newborns. This headhugger can then be removed ...

Review of Maxi-Cosi Cabrio Car Seat

Just like a big Pillow

Advantages: Very safe
Disadvantages: Not sure about lasting until she's 3

I have this in the pink color and at first I had mixed emotions. I loved the forward facing position and the fact that it easily reclines but I didn't think it would be that big. I ordered it from the Littlewoods catalogue so I did see it until it arrived. When we put it in the car at first I thought it would be too big. We have a Citroen C4 - so not a small car and with my partner driving at 6 ft and a bit tall she hasn't got an awful lot of room ...
...it's meant to last till she's 3! I have my doubts! When she's bigger i'll move her behind the passenger seat. It's very well padded and the belts have pads on them to stop any rubbing. It was easy to instal but I didn't find the instructions dummy proof. They could of been a bit more clear about how to adjust the straps. Review of Britax First Class

Eclipse deserves it's good reputation

Advantages: very padded and comfortable
Disadvantages: needs a wide (standard seat ) to install safely and needs a strong arm too!

We bought the Eclipse SI in the january sales and patiently waited for the boy to weigh enough to install it. Three months later he hit the requisite 19lbs and he has never been happier. I have a 2 seater SUV (without airbag) and hubby has a hatchback so we have tested the car seat in the front and back and it works very well. You do need a bit of weight behind you to press the seat in firmly when first installing - if you are a lady on your own ...
...I would look for something lighter - but once it is installed it is very convenient, easy to get in and out and now i have the hang of it, little one does not even wake up when i get him out when we get home. There are two settings but we leave it tilted back as a default and the boy is comfortable and can still see what's going on. Best seat in its class

Advantages: Easy to use, install and clean
Disadvantages: none so far

I cannot reccomend this highly enough. I find this easy to install, easy to use, and it feels solid as a rock in the car. The isofix mechanism is extremely easy to use, and really cannot be installed incorrectly. Even using a seatbelt to install it the carseat is very secure, though it does take a bit of effort to get it tight enough! Gives the child a good view, and is nicely padded for comfort.
