Advantages: removable cover, easy adjustable straps, easy to use/remove
Disadvantages: Cover fiddly to remove

Bought in Summer 2005 for £120 at a local baby shop (although available in John Lewis, Mother care and many other stores). I bought this car seat for my son after much research. Advantages; 1) Removerable washable cover (although it says handwash only on mine I wash it on a gentle setting in my machine), 2) clips to hold back the straps which saves time searching for the clips! 3) Multi position recline 4) Easy to adjust straps (height and tightness) ...
...Disadvantages: 1) Cover is a bit fiddly to remove (I've only done it once so not a major issue) Suitable from 20lbs for confident "sitters". I would advise anyone contemplating purchasing a car seat to get it fitted in your car(s). Not only to check that you know how to fit it safely but also to check that it is suitable for your car. ...100% sure though! We trapsed around Toys'R'Us and Mothercare and prices were similar, but Mothercare had one on the shelf and a very willing salesperson offered for us to try it in the car. Its quite important that you take your car with you, even if grandma or grandad is paying, as they don't all fit in all types of cars. i had the young profi plus car seat and was so impressed with it i decided to for the young expert plus when my little one grew out if the smaller one. there are definite plus points to this seat but there are some drawbacks too. i cant fault the quality it is robust and well built. my little one seems happy enough in it so not much more you can say than that. i found that this did not fit to well in my vectra or in a astra so maybe worth trying ...

I bought this car seat when my son was 10 months old to put in my mums car and at £85 I thought it was a great bargain! The seat unit itself consists of a removabe padded booster seat and a high back which are held together by what I can only describe as a large plastic anchor shape at the base of the high back and a moulded hole in the back of the booster seat, I had a few problems with this as every time I lifted the car seat the two fell apart ...

When we bought our M&P pram, this car seat came as part of the package. We have used it since my daughter was born with no problems (we also purchased the surefix base). She has always been happy in it, and we've been happy with it. At 8 months she started getting really annoyed when we were in the car, I suspect this is down to her wanting to face forward now (she's quite nosey like her mother). We managed to keep her in it for another month but ...
...much better for her. She was also too long for it now and her feet touched the seat infront of her, my daughter is only small for her age aswell. The seat is heavy on its own, and whilst she was a newborn we were okay to carry it (although not for long) but at 8 months she was approx 15lb and I couldn't even lift it it was so heavy.
